North Mecklenburg, NC. - Today, Senator Eddie Goodall (R) Mecklenburg - Union joined a growing list of fellow conservative Republican lawmakers and grassroots activists giving Rep. John Rhodes his official endorsement, issuing the following statement: "Dear Republican Primary Voter: Will Rogers once said "Diplomacy is the art of saying nice doggie until you can find a rock." Rep. John Rhodes is not running for re-election as diplomat. He is a conservative I trust and a legislator who has the courage to "turn over rocks" in the General Assembly and get the hard work done." "We need Rep. John Rhodes in the legislature to continue to win for taxpayers and families in his district and across North Carolina. I support and endorse Rep. John Rhodes' re-election".
Sincerely,
Rhodes thanked the latest of his colleagues to endorse him in the following statement: "I want to thank Sen. Goodall for his confidence in me. We have become good friends and working on the education issues has brought us alot closer together by rolling up our sleeves and taking on the necessary legislative battles as we seek to win our state back for the taxpayers and hard working people of North Carolina. Whether the issue is school deconsolodation or increasing the cap for Charter Schools in North Carolina. I'm glad to be working with Sen. Goodall as a team member. I appreciate greatly his support and endorsment towards my re-election." U.S. Rep. Sue Myrick (R) offered her official endorsement last week as have a number of other Republican Conservatives at the grassroots, Federal, State, and local level.
